1. Non-political and represented in major cities around the world, Christian Embassy aims to foster the spiritual welfare of those leading in the diplomatic world. Thank God for the staff memebers working with Christian Embassy in London. Pray for joy and effectiveness in working together.
2. Pray for the Agapé Student Life Summer Project teams from the UK heading to the Middle East and Russia this month. Pray that they would befriend students interested in hearing about Jesus and that these contacts would be successfully passed on to the long-term team in the city. We ask also for protection and unity for the team.
3. Pray for the Student Leaders who are part of the Agapé Student Life movement at universities around the UK. Though they are away from university, pray that God would bless them with vision for the academic year ahead. Pray that he would be growing them into the men and women of faith that he has created them to be.
4. Praise God for Agapé’s First Acts team who work to build spiritual movements in the Farsi-speaking community in the UK and beyond. Pray for more Farsi-speaking workers to join the First Acts team.
5. 15-21 August Agapé UK’s Summer Staff Conference begins this week. Pray that our staff would recharge by being with one another, catching new vision for where the movement is headed, studying God’s Word and listening to God’s voice together.
6. 22-28 August This week as part of our UK staff conference, we will be commissioning our new staff as well as those moving on to new Agapé assignments, here and overseas. We will also be saying goodbye to staff who are moving on after years of service. Pray that all of these would be filled with excitement and clarity about God’s next step for them.
7. Pray for the many believers in workplaces across the UK. Ask God to provide them with the courage and tenacity to stand up for what is right in every situation. We pray that God would also provide them with the support they need to lead healthy and balanced lives.
