The Global Prayer Movement is a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International. Our office is located in the Woerner Prayer Center at Campus Crusade's Lake Hart headquarters in Orlando, FL.
To help mobilize prayer for and within the worldwide spiritual movement of Campus Crusade for Christ at the local level leading to a global impact.
Prayer movements leading to spiritual movements of multiplication everywhere so that everyone knows someone who is truly following Jesus.
Historically, spiritual movements happen through an intentional and sustained emphasis on prayer.
Help encourage, resource and mobilize movements of prayer at the local level focusing on three aspects of prayer: Intimacy, Kingdom and Community.
Intimacy (personal relationship with God) - "‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” Mark 12:28-34 (NIV)
Kingdom (God’s kingdom to come and God’s will to be done in our lives) – “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:9 (NIV)
Community (praying for others and other’s praying for us leading to spiritual movements on the local level globally) – “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:39 (NIV); “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (NIV)
